The Pawcific Northwest

My parents and I went to Portland for a vacation.  Even though I didn’t like sitting under the seat on the airplane (there’s no view!), I loved it once we got there. It’s not like LA at all. There’s so much grass and lots of trees and big fields to run in.  Daddy and I were trying to figure out how we can move there but Mommy doesn’t want to go.  I heard it rains a lot over there. But that’s ok because I have a raincoat, thanks to Uncle Billy.

I can’t wait to go back to Portland. It’s the greatest place in the world.

My First Hotel

We stayed in a hotel! I didn’t know what to expect and it turned out to be so much fun. The people who run the place are so friendly and they all smiled at me. They also gave me their “Arf Kit” which came with bowls for my water and food, a bed for me to sleep on and treats! I think the also gave Mommy and Daddy bags to pick up after me.

I highly recommend the aloft Hotel to my four-legged buddies. Mommy said that they didn’t charge us extra for me and they have free parking and an endless sea of green grass. I might want to stay in a hotel every night now.
